This website honors our common Norwegian roots and the courage of our ancestors  to leave their homeland and travel across the sea (risking their lives and health to  travel in cramped quarters with minimal food and questionable water on primitive  ships) to a strange, new and unfamiliar land with the dream of a better life for them  and their families.
  Be sure and check out the "Stories" section as I am now starting to add some family stories to our site. They are located under the "People" section near the top of the page. If you have stories to share with the rest of the family, write them down and e-mail them to me and I will see that they get put in.
